Courtney Marek has been a licensed real estate agent with Sandpiper Realty, Inc. for eleven years. She has had a wide range of experience beginning as administrative assistant and quickly moving to sales assistant for the principal broker, Sharon Purdy. She was promoted to General Manager of the agency in 2004; her responsibilities include advertising and marketing and keeping the agency on the cutting edge of real estate trends.

Courtney, a Connecticut native, is a fifth generation summer resident of Oak Bluffs providing her with a good historical base of island knowledge. She currently resides in Vineyard Haven with her husband and two small sons. She is a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network, a professional organization catering to the needs of women in business. She also donates much of her time volunteering with several other island organizations.
