Farm Neck Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course that is open to the public from April to December. The course was designed in 1979 and has been known as one of the top places to golf in the Northeast. Farm Neck has a reputation as being a top public golf course in the region but has also hosted several celebrities and top names. President Bill Clinton played the course in 1993 while President Barack Obama played a round of golf while vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard in 2009.

Several holes on Farm Neck have views of the ocean while providing a scenic New England landscape. This challenging course has everything from marshes to woodlands to open meadows, making it a hard but valuable place to golf. Golf Digest named it one of the “Best Places to Play”, making it a premier place for golfers from all over the world to try.

Make sure to make a tee time in advance as at times it can be difficult to secure a spot. From June 26 – September 7, it runs $170 for 18 holes from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. and $80 for nine holes. Prices vary from time of the year and time of the day so check in advance.

At Farm Neck, you can also take advantage of the tennis courts or stop at the café for a bite to eat after your round of golf.

Mink Meadows Golf Club in Vineyard Haven is a popular destination for locals. This 18-hole course is open year-round to all, making it a top golf destination in the Northeast. Non-members can make tee times two days in advance. Prices vary from season but can run $90 for 18-holes during the summer.

The course was founded in 1936 and features several scenic landscapes. No fungicides or insecticides are used on the course, making it environmentally safe. Presidents Clinton and Obama have also made visits to the course.
