In celebration of Sandpiper Realty and Sandpiper Rental’s 50th Anniversary, we will be making $200 donations each week throughout the year to local non-profits. The 46th donation of our 50 Weeks of Giving initiative is going to Options in Education.

Since its launch in 1994, Options in Education has been working with the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School to provide an alternative education option to local families, one that offers a self-directed approach to learning and caters to each child’s interests and learning style. The school currently serves 180 students in grades K-12. It has gained a reputation for academic excellence thanks to the dedicated parents, educators, students and community leaders who believe in its mission.

The Edgartown Public Library is to offers a welcome space for all year-round Islanders, seasonal, and daily visitors to browse their extensive collection, use a computer or free wifi, or simply relax in a comfy chair. They also offers numerous programs and have a knowledgeable and staff that are always ready to assist.

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that their children will thrive. They focus on helping youth to achieve their full potential, which only contributes to healthier families, better schools, brighter futures and stronger communities.
