The shoulder season of the year can be even better than summer sometimes. Not as many crowds and most of the restaurants and retail spots are opening. Mother Nature is reminding you that new life is coming through the buds of flowers. After all, it is our April showers that bring our May flowers.

Restaurants

The selections of places to enjoy a meal start to increase this time of year. While new staff is arriving constantly, many restaurants start to test out what items they are going to feature this upcoming season. It is a great time to try something new without the long wait times.

Beaches

With the sun shining and just a hint of cool still in the air, beaches are great for spring walks, collecting shells, rocks, and the occasional sea glass.
