Martha’s Vineyard Vacation Rental: Chappaquiddick Compound

If you have a great big family or a huge group of friends, then this is the rental property for you. It sleeps 19! The main house has seven bedroom and two guest cottages have three additional bedrooms. Five bathrooms and, not one, but two outdoor showers round out the accommodations.

This beautifully renovated Victorian summer cottage is minutes from Wasque Point at the southeastern end of Chappy. A nature reserve with picnic tables and endless beach, swimming is prohibited, but surfcasting is fantastic in these waters – so you’ll see lots of off-road vehicles pulling up to fish. And the property itself has tennis and water access – it’s only a 1/2 mile for Katama Bay beach.

In the house itself, you’ll find a big, gorgeous kitchen and plenty of room to spread out, most sun-drenched on the cozy, comfy wrap-around porch. Perfect for relaxing after a ‘strenuous’ day at the beach or having cocktails before a big lobster dinner. Either way, it’ll be you and eighteen of your most beloved friends and family, surrounded by the waters of Chappaquiddick.

This house and guest house not only offer great proximity to the highly desirable south shore beaches at Wasque but also a mooring for your boat near the Chappy ferry. Enjoy beautiful summer days and nights with the ocean breezes and lovely sunsets right from the deck and screened porches on this property.

The master suite on the upper level with an enhanced view out to the sea also has a cat walk to a screened gazebo style porch making this a lovely romantic getaway. There’s not much more you could ask for in a Chappy rental!
