Carriage House
Our recent stay at the renovated carriage house was a wonderful experience. The home was renovated recently by renowned architect, Patrick Ahearn, whose specialty if recreating the history Island vernacular. The house is well decorated and appointed with high quality furnishing and amenities. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare gourmet quality meals. The views overlook Vineyard Sound and we enjoyed the occasional passing of the Island ferries. Since the weather was stormy during our stay, we took advantage of the 2 fireplaces and the three distinct seating areas. Everyone had a place to read, watch the boats of engage in conversation.
