Our first time on Chappy, so we did not know what to expect- beautiful family compound - away from the summer tourists - you are out there on Chappy, but we would drop our annoying teens at the ferry so they could shop and see. People - house is so inviting and beds are comfortable - the front stairs inside are tricky so we had a ?no socks? house rule - there is no railing for the back stairs but we had no incidents - also bring your own lobster crackers and wine glasses - a lovely woman came a greeted us on our first day and gave us the lay of the land - the walk to the Rocky beach was short and the bay was full of creatures! A sandy beach in the bay is a further walk down the shore - East beach and wasque are a short drive - in sum, this place is great, room to roam, beautiful house, and we would definitely return!
