Traditional, Private, Peaceful and Close to Everything. I didn't know what to expect when I found this property. During the African American Film Festival it was hard to find lodging and I stumbled upon this wonderful boathouse and could not have been happier. It is 1 min walk from downtown and with my own balcony and dock I had amazing sunrise and nighttime views. The inside was charming and the boathouse felt historic but with all the modern amenities. Because it is a boathouse you have a little bit of a walk to and from the main street, but its a picturesque walk and one that is easy to get used to. (However, be prepared to carry your bags a little bit vs rolling them on grass)... I cannot wait to rebook this little getaway and bring my spouse next time!!
