Steeped in history, exuding luxury. The traditional whaling captain's home has been renovated to include seven bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms over three buildings. Starting in the main house, you enter through perfectly replicated antique doors. On this level you will find a lovely sitting area that closes off for privacy and the first of the seven bedrooms with an en suite bath. The balance of the first floor is dedicated to family gathering and entertaining space centered around the exquisite kitchen. The second story hosts three en suite bedrooms with the primary boasting a private deck. Ascend one more level and you will find a cozy garret bedroom with it's own refreshment station. Head out of the main house onto the covered back porch, perfect for an al fresco meal, with a beautiful seating area and heaters for those chilly evenings. You are now in the motor court, with the carriage house beyond. A great space for your vehicle or bicycles, above you will find an en suite bedroom comprised of two double beds. Behind the carriage house is the 16' x 32' saltwater pool and the 8' x 8' heated spa. You can relax in the shade of the pool house with a flat screen TV and everything you will need for your poolside refreshments. Beyond the pool is the guesthouse with roomy living spaces, one bedroom, one bathroom and a full kitchen. Sit out on the front porch and watch the ever-changing vista of the harbor. 2 week minimum.
