At first glance, the house bears the historic charm of the 1800s, precisely maintained and bound by a beautiful fieldstone wall. Yet inside, it reflects the beach house of a sophisticated cosmopolitan type. The interior has been opened up, giving way to sunlight which streams through the entirely of the space. The back door, serving as the primary entrance, opens to an eat-in kitchen with white stone counter-tops, bar area and a breakfast table beneath an atrium, offering a glimpse at the sky above. A small foyer leads to an open living and dining area, with white lacquer table and seating for eight, adorned with a contemporary glass globe chandelier. Pillars distinguish the two spaces, though one can imagine the conversation flows effortlessly into the barrel chairs and sprawling sectional sofa - glamorous and inviting, and perfectly flanks the wall of windows behind. The first floor bedroom is tucked down a hallway off the kitchen, with a king bed and spacious ensuite bath, large in scale and yet cozy in feeling, just the same. Bedrooms two and three are on the second floor, both outfitted in crisp whites, cool grays and a multitude of textures, each room with an ensuite with a half bath and a shared hall shower.

A guest wing on the first floor allows for company without encumbrance. A hallway lined with windows, just off the main kitchen, opens to a second laundry room, kitchen and living area with fireplace and flat screen television, beautiful sofa with nail head trim and, finally, the second primary bedroom, also ensuite, with king size bed, outfitted in a sleek navy and white color scheme.

The two wings of the house are joined by a blue stone patio, and pool, the focal point of entertainment and spot of joyful memories - there is plenty of space for everyone - a wonderful vacation, indeed.
