The Mill Pond House, completely restored 1840s farmhouse adjacent to the famous Mill Pond in historic West Tisbury. Remodeled by the present owner, this home is beautifully appointed with antiques, charming accessories and comfortable furnishings. A pine floor and columns add to the ambience of the interior. The first floor has been converted to an open plan with a cozy living room, a smart TV, fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. Adjoining is a double bedroom with half bath as well as a screened porch with a table for four, another TV and seating area with a beautiful view of the spacious deck and yard rolling down toward the Mill Pond. The main house is 2,700 square feet. Upstairs there is a king, queen and twin bedrooms; two with a scenic view, and two TVs. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in one of the two full bathrooms upstairs. The Summer House is an adjacent original barn that has been carefully converted and extended to meet the needs of larger families. It now holds two separate sleeping spaces for four guests, separated by pocket doors, a half bath and a nearby outdoor shower. Offering all the comforts of home for work or play as well as a strong WIFI signal and TV. Beach towels and chairs are in an adjacent shed as well as beach equipment and toys. The backyard and vista provide a lovely pastoral setting often enhanced by brilliant sunsets!
