I’m not sure this West Chop house could be in a better location! You’ll find it all the way down Main Street in Tisbury. I love that you can drive out of the artistic and charming bustle of Vineyard Haven’s main drag and then it gets quieter and more serene until you come upon the magical loveliness that is West Chop.

Jutting out into the Sound, West Chop is like an old neighborhood – that revolves around the West Chop Club with it’s golf course, tennis courts, manicured lawns and wrap around porches and around the playground and general store. Of course, don’t forget the gorgeous beaches that wrap around the Chop!

And this rental, like I mentioned has the best of both worlds since it’s located on Main Street in between downtown Vineyard Haven and the community of West Chop. So you have quiet and privacy, but also total and close access to two great and people-ful places.

The house is big and spacious with 8 bedrooms, room for 12 and 3.5 bathrooms! I love that it has a third floor (and luckily that top floor has air conditioning for those toasty Vineyard days!) But, don’t worry if it gets crowded – your beach is 30 yards out the back door. And there’s plenty of room to spread out on the porch and the deck.

Martha’s Vineyard Vacation Rental: Chappaquiddick Upside Down

In a place like Martha’s Vineyard, where the views are breathtaking and the sun beckons us out to play all day, I am a huge champion of the upside down house. If most indoor hours are spent in the common spaces – kitchen, living room, dining room – then doesn’t it make sense for them to be on the second floor, surrounded by windows out to the island? I think so!

This Chappaquiddick vacation rental is the ultimate reverse level post and beam contemporary house full of beautiful wood – floors, walls, ceilings and beams, of course, with built-in shelves everywhere you look.

Featuring 3 decks, a screened-in porch, patio, widows walk, and gorgeous waterviews from the second floor. But, don’t worry, you’ll be able to get your feet wet too. The house includes Katama Bay access right at end of the road. Additionally, a shared tennis court is included with the property rental.

‘Chappy’ is the island get away off the main island of Martha’s Vineyard. Accessible only by the small ‘On Time’ ferry that only holds a few cars at a time, this isolated retreat really lets you get away from it all. Stunning beaches and ocean to the horizon await…

Martha’s Vineyard Vacation Rental: Edgartown Loft

This very cool apartment rental in Edgartown has it all: it’s right in the heart of the village, very close to the beach and the price is definitely on target.

At 450 square feet, the space is used incredibly well with an open kitchen/dining/living area with cathedral ceilings. Off the living room, you’ll find a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and up the spiral staircase is a great loft space with a king water bed. The property comes with a rooftop deck and an outdoor shower. Parking for one car is available for overnights and the first floor is occupied by a professional office.

Right outside your door is Edgartown village where you’ll find everything:

Incredible stores – boutique clothing, a cozy independent book store and even the Black Dog for your yearly t-shirt;
Restaurants – L’Etoile for something fancy, Among the Flowers for something casual and Mad Martha’s for something ice cream.
Events – movies, music, festivals, the Martha’s Vineyard Museum…and more!

And, don’t forget the beach! Fuller Street Beach is only a 3/4 of a mile away. Fuller Street is a quiet Beach that overlooks the water between Edgartown’s shores and Chappaquiddick – which Fuller gives you a clear view of.
