Christmas in Edgartown with Sandpiper Rentals
Edgartown comes alive every December with Christmas lights, smells of warm fires and Christmas wreaths and trees. Edgartown Board of Trade’s 33rd Annual Christmas in Edgartown is a celebration that throws you right into the holiday spirit. The parade features local businesses, smiling children, and… well Santa of course! This year’s parade was a bit longer with more entries, live animals, singing and dancing. Local business, Slip 77 gave out items from their fabulous retail store located in Oak Bluffs including t-shirts. Sandpiper Rentals held an Open House Tour with many surprises such as raffles, treats, and warm drinks.
At the very end of the parade the children were overjoyed to see Santa Claus.
Once that concluded, I caught up with the Alpacas outside of the Edgartown School. Then joined in the fun with all of the vendors at the Craft Fair where I purchased some homemade ornaments and jewelry.
Finally, I wrapped up the afternoon with some local shopping at MV Florist and Sanctuary in Oak Bluffs where I chatted with the dear owners, Frank and Rita. All in all, it was a wonderful way to start the Holiday Season.
