Sandpiper Rentals makes it a point to continually educate ourselves in our business and industry.  Anne Mayhew, Owner/Broker had the opportunity to attend the New England Vacation Rental Managers Association meeting last week and gained a great amount of information.  This group provided great speakers that have expertise in vacation rentals and promoting growth in marketing and customer service for both our tenants and owners.  The opportunities abound and we find ourselves on the fast track as technology provides so many ways to improve our systems.

How to Determine a Price Point for your Rental?

Martha’s Vineyard is not so very different than most places.  You basically get what you pay for.  On the moderate side – a simple three bedroom vacation home in Katama will range from $2100-$3,000/wk.  As you add amenities like air conditioning, upgraded furnishings, screened porch, outdoor living your rate increases.

The high ticket rental usually has some water orientation whether it have views and/or access to the beach.  These rentals range from $6000/wk and up.

As the saying goes: location, location, location!
