Martha’s Vineyard Food and Wine Festival

Every fall some of the best chef’s in New England,including special guests, such as Napa Valley Vintner Joseph Carr and celebrity Chef and Hobby-Farmer, Suvir Saran, come to Martha’s Vineyard to take part in the annual Martha’s Vineyard Food and Wine Festival (MVFW). The four day event includes grand tastings, a sommelier throw down, wine pairings, and much more. For a full list of events CLICK HERE

According to Christina Cook, President of the Edgartown Board of Trade, “This event is a unique [festival]… this is a festival of heart and soul, around food, wine and more importantly, this Island.”  The Martha’s Vineyard Food and Wine Festival was originally created to promote Island Grown Schools, which promotes local sustainability, making healthy food choices, and much more within the schools on Martha’s Vineyard.

Fashion Week On Martha’s Vineyard

This week marks the 3rd annual Martha’s Vineyard Fashion Week. From September 16 – 22 you’ll find plenty of events dedicated to fashion; including fashion shows, sip and shops, bridal soiree, and much more. Most of the events that take place are fund raisers to Angel Flight NE, a non-profit group that arranges free flights so children and adults can access health care around the world.
